Overview

Located at the base of Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley Lodge features 245 guestrooms, all of which were renovated in 2014. Special Family Rooms feature one king bed, two single beds, one sofa sleeper, a private bathroom and TVs with DVD players. The resort also offers onsite bike rentals, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor heated pool, movies at the outdoor amphitheater and nightly ranger programs. For onsite dining, head to the Mountain Room Restaurant, which offers beautiful views of the Yosemite Falls.

Unexpected Delight

My husband (who just had a knee replacement) and I, along with our support animal had a fabulous stay in Maple Lodge at the Yosemite Valley Lodge.

The room was well appointed and spotless. Bonus for a gorgeous view. Past reviews had me prepared for a so-so room, but that was not at all our experience.

The check-in was smooth and full of info. The on-site casual dining (Garden Terrace) was among the best meals we've had anywhere. The menu was seasonal and perfectly prepared.

Next trip will include this Lodge, but for a longer time!

We enjoyed our stay on our recent family trip. Ideally situated in the valley and close to everything. Really friendly staff who were great with our kids as well as us. It was great to stay in the valley and so much to do. The views are. I thing short of spectacular. We loved our stay and will definitely be looking to stay at the lodge on our next visit.
