Nice room, nice location, service of the lesser

We checked in to a lovely room with a beautiful view. We went to the restaurant in the hotel for dinner. At one point the waitress disappeared. The bartender brought us our drinks after they sat for a few minutes. We were the only people in the restaurant. I couldn't figure out why service was so slow. After dinner, we decided to go to the pool/hot tub. We went to the desk and asked where it was located. He told us it was closed. Not true, we went and found it ourselves, in the basement and it was open for 2 more hours. We did use the shuttle and the service was wonderful. Alex told us great stories in our short ride and was very helpful and patient with our family.

Stayed two nights for a family wedding.
Due to recent issues with my leg, requested a handicapped accessible room. It was very nice and spacious and easy to maneuver in. Nice fold down seat in accessible shower.
No fridge, microwave or coffee maker in this older IHG hotel. Although they did bring up a fridge for us when we asked, so I could refrigerate my medication.
Other issue...valet parking was $32 a day! We are small town people so we weren’t prepared for that fee.
Service everywhere in the facility was good and the staff very accommodating.
