Great option instead of Salem for Halloween

by Emshudson

We stayed here the 30th/31st of October. We choose to stay here instead of directly in Salem based on price/to avoid the hustle and bustle. Hotel staff were very nice especially Sam. The room was perfect for our short stay. Very comfortable and practical. The TV is really big too! It’s only about ten minutes in an UBER into Salem and we didn’t pay anymore than $15 even at peak times. We didn’t even have to wait long for one even though it was Halloween. Would definitely stay again!

Good location - needs a little bit more to help travelers

by Ken N

I located this hotel during our visit to Salem and Gloucester in October. The room was acceptable but I think that the hotel could do more to improve service. First of all, the signage could be improved significantly, particularly to identify the entrance and also where the office is (there are several buildings on site). Secondly, the light fare breakfast is not at the level for travelers where one could get eggs and juices. It could be improved to include more. It does have some good space for conferences in other buildings. My wife and I ended up going into the nearby town of Beverly to get a full breakfast. Overall, a very good location in Massachusetts, with room for growth.
