The windjammer is truly my families second home. We have been coming here for over 20 years. A two minute walk down El Mar drive gets you to restaurants, live entertainment, the pet store, ice cream shops, and gift stores. There's a Walgreens in walking distance for groceries, as well as "surf stores" in case you left your bathing suit back home. Majority of the rooms have beach views, there are two pools, free beach chairs to use during the day, pool toys, beach toys, bikes, you name it! This place just gets better over time.. any review that says differently is horribly wrong. The rooms are great. You won't spend much time in them anyway since there is so much to do here! The beach is so calming to sit in front of. You can take a walk, collect shells, or even just put your toes in the water. But don't forget your keys to get back in, the doors will lock behind ya just to keep the randoms out! A1A and commercial Blvd will get you a where where you need to go if you can't walk. AND! There are tiny tiny lizards to catch and release! Just don't grab them by the tails!
Needless to say, we will be back in two weeks or less to see our other windjammer friends! ❣️
