Overview

A seaside lodging with the look of a motel but the soul of a B&B, the Windjammer has been entertaining guests in one way or another for more than 200 years. It is located on the far northern end of Hampton, on a beach aptly named North Beach, which as the same sand and ocean but none of the crowds or craziness of the Hampton Beach Strip two miles south.
Among the rooms are cozy two-bed apartments that can sleep up to four, and incorporate kitchenettes with stove, microwave, and fridge. Rooms are a cut above the usual motel room, with very comfortable beds with comforters in beachy pastel colors. The beach is right across the street, with balconies in many of the rooms looking out onto the surf. Even though the inn is away from the action of central Hampton, it is still next door to a family-friendly bar-and-grill, and several shops.

This place was very cozy and inviting, the room looked like you stepped into your favorite grandmother's bedroom. Sliding glass doors with rocking chairs just outside gave a beautiful view of the ocean across the street. Nothing glitzy or modern, but the room had a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, along with real dishes! The owner was very friendly and accommodating and even gave me an upgrade upon checking in! Great place to stay! Thanks!

Our first time staying and it's so homey and warm. The owners are wonderful people and Annie's skones are delicious. The rooms are so cozy and the bed's comfortable. Highly recommend you stay here. Will definitely return!!
