If visiting Michigan State University, East Lansing or the capital, the Wild Goose Inn Bead and Breakfast, located just one block from campus on the other side of E Grand River Ave, offers you six luxuriously appointed suites divided between two houses and joined by a communal deck complete with café tables and a gas fire pit. Each room at the Wild Goose has a private bath, a Jacuzzi, gas fireplace, cable TV with DVD/CD player, iPod dock, and free Wi-Fi. Of course a full, hearty breakfast is included during each morning you rise at the Wild Goose B&B. Probably not the accommodations young families would be seeking during a visit to East Lansing but if you have older children or are in town visiting a college student, the Wild Goose is a surprisingly affordable, elegant oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of university life.

I did not realize just how in the middle of East Lansing this place was. Once you're inside though, you are in a secluded little B&B. The rooms were top notch. We stayed in the autumn arbor, and our friends stayed at the winter something. Both were beautiful and well maintained. The fireplace was warm enough to heat the entire house, and the bath tub can fit two easily. Everyone that works there was attentive and extremely nice. Breakfast was served with the tastiest muffins as well as a great omelet. If you're looking for a great place to stay for a get away or a game, this is well worth your time!

The Inn is exquisite, and turned a business trip to East Lansing into a romantic getaway. The public rooms are filled with beautiful Mission furniture. We sat by candlelight in the hot tub in our room and dried off in front of our own gas flame fire. The room was filled with beautiful thematic touches as well as fresh flowers. And breakfast was wonderful, especially the muffins.
