Come to NYC every year for pleasure and work. My sister was visiting from Slovakia so we wanted to be centrally located. Subway stop is right next to the hotel and restaurant choices are endless. We enjoyed restaurant in the hotel few times during our stay.

If you are a Marriott loyalist you may get sucked in by the Westin brand. Don’t get too excited. This place preys on tourists trying to stay near Time Square. Something I’ll never understand. I had to stay here out of necessity. I’m a 100+ night Titanium member but was still hit with a $30 a night “destination fee”. Full disclosure: I heard of this ahead of time but figured perhaps it was waived. Nope. Shameless money grab. You get a dining Credit in the same amount but who the hell wants to use that in NYC? They also do not follow all of the Bonvoy program terms. Again I’m a Titanium member meaning I’m supposed to get an upgrade. They stated they had no upgrades available. Not even a standard room with a king bed. Guess what: they have nearly every room type in the hotel available for revenue bookings this very second. Rooms are a joke - the Four Points near here is nicer.
