A perfect short stay for my friends and I. We spent our time either by the pool or by the beach. There are a few pools to choose from and if you want some peace and quiet, go to the pool at the Spa centre which is only for adults. Spending time on the beach was fun (and quiet) too, the beach is a shell beach...maybe that's why it does not appeal to the kids :) no building of sand castles The pool opens at 7am, so go for a swim to build an appetite and then go for breakfast.
Buffet breakfast is till 11am...which meant we had enough yummy food that last us till dinner. Fresh juices, egg station, freshly made crepes etc. We had dinner in Tide Restaurant but before that, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Dinner was equally yummy, we had steak, seafood and caesar salad. Unfortunately, their dessert selection was not interesting.
After dinner, we hang out at Breeze where you can enjoy live band till 11pm except on Mondays. So on Monday nite, we went to St Regis, just next door, to listen to a live band. Westin will arrange for transport for free and your bill at St Regis can be transferred to Westin. (We arrived a bit early and our rooms were not ready, we hang out at Breeze with delicious cocktail and gorgeous view on comfy sofas)
The room was clean and comfy beds and pillows. We splurge a bit by staying ocean view room. It is worth it.The gorgeous view while sitting at the balcony. The rooms have an air cond with the temperature lowest at 20C and a ceiling fan. We switched on the fan middle of the nite as it was a bit warm...forgot to highlight that to the staff. Free WiFi through out the property.
Westin staff's service were excellent. We enjoyed our stay...need to come back again.
