One of the island’s most luxurious resorts may not seem entirely family-friendly but a stay in one of its Courtyard Cottages provides a two-bedroom place for families to relax, with one kind-sized bed or two twins and one queen-sized bed. The resort offers a private bay and Atlantic beach, tennis courts, free WiFi, board games, fishing pools, a DVD library with hot buttered popcorn, and daily refreshments, including fresh fruit and bottled water available at any time, and champagne on the lawn at sunset. The resort also provides cooking classes, Jeep tours, cruises and more. Mom and dad shouldn’t miss dinner in its world-famous, five-star TOPPERS restaurant.

Superb country inn. Excellent location. Friendly staff throughout. Laid-back, unintrusive, but seem truly interested in their guests enjoying their time. Activities/bicycles were included in price. This was our first stay, were in a cottage, older with small bathroom, but charming. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for a night following our wedding weekend- we were blown away by the hospitality and ambiance throughout. The hotel had beautiful finishes throughout and reminded me of historic Nantucket. Our room had amazing sunset views, and the food was second to none. Natalie and Ali at the concierge desk are world class!
