Room was very warm even with heat off. Had to open a window to cool down but source of heat seemed to be the hall so it was too warm all night to get a good sleep. Bath fan was also noisy and needs to be repaired/replaced. Room was a bit small and only had one chair. On the other hand the front desk personnel were excellent.

I was presently surprised with this hotel. I travel a LOT for work as well as personal and am all about the bed, the amenities (real creamer for your first cup of coffee, excellent hand soap, a robe, slippers and a safe - could have had a nicer blow dryer) and more importantly the cleanliness. The bedding is funky with two comforters, one for each side of the bed, yet they are large enough to overlap and heavy enough you stayed covered and cozy. This hotel hit on all marks and is in an excellent location to get around the U district easily. My only real issue while staying was you could hear the people in the room above me stomping around, yet they may have only been walking.
