Overview

The simple, elegant suites at Water’s Edge Shoreside live up to their name: they’re set on a private island next to a beautiful harbor, minutes from the Wild Pacific Trail and western Vancouver Island’s other top attractions. The suites make the perfect home base for outdoorsy families who want to be close to hiking, kayaking, fishing, whale watching, beaches, and rainforests — but return after the day’s adventures to a quiet bed in a secluded hotel.
When booking, you’ll choose between a one-bedroom suite (accommodating four with sofa bed) or a two-bedroom suite (six with sofa bed). Both feature full kitchens, gas fireplaces, private patios, and wireless Internet (bandwidth is limited, suitable for light browsing only). If you like, you can upgrade either to a “deluxe” suite, which adds an outdoor jetted tub to the private balcony, so you can relax in the hot water and enjoy the views.
Staying indoors on a rainy day? Feel free to borrow books, board games, and DVDs (your TV comes equipped with a player) from the lobby, free of charge. There’s also an onsite spa where you can enjoy an infrared sauna, therapeutic massage, or relaxing face and body treatments.

My husband and I were there in 2017 and LOVED it....this time the suites' we had were very basic. We were disappointed. It is a lovely property and everyone is very friendly..... My brother and sister in law were with us.

Have visited the area many times, and normally stay either in Tofino or between Tofino and Ucluelet-however...this property may be a game changer? Excellent amenities and the staff goes over and above, going back again next month!!!
