I have stayed at Waterfront Village many times in the past. Typically, it is a high quality experience. This trip, I have no heat. I got help that was useless last night - the radiant heat I was told would start did not come on. The all-night help failed to respond to a call. . I slept in all of my clothes (sweater, T-shirt, slacks, leggings, socks) and ended up with a cold. There are no substitute rooms; I have spent two hours trying to get heat in the morning and I am informed there will be a 100% cancellation fee if I leave the complex. There must be new management; this management is not user-friendly, not responsive, and punitive.

These apartments are mostly owned by private people and, apart from one block where it’s owners only, are available for short or long term rent. So they are all self catering which is great for longer term visits but if you want to join the throng of the waterfront, then it’s just a short distance away. Security is tight to say the least. The setting is really nice with the marina down the middle of the buildings
