Upon arrival to Bali, we had to drive pretty long towards Tabanan, almost 2 hours due to the traffic. The distance was not far but due to the traffic it took us awhile to reach. Our arrival was greeted by the hotel concierge and the bags were taken. Welcome drinks were also served and considering the hot weather it was very well received by us. The check in process was also very smooth and quick.
We booked a pool villa and we were very impressed by it. We were Greeted by the beautiful pool and lush greenery when we entered. The kind size bed was huge and comfortable. No complains as we had a good night sleep. The villa came with a bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower. It was really nicely designed and we were very happy to stay in this place. However our only drawback on the villa is the air conditioning. It was very very warm in the afternoon and it was practically like not having any air conditioning on. So it was not possible for us to sleep in the villa in the afternoons.
Breakfast was table service where we could order from the menu. They had a variety of options from American, Indonesian, Vegan, Chinese and Indian. In summary, the food was great and we enjoyed the morning meals. We really loved their pastries as it always comes warm and crispy.
Another drawback on this place is the small spa that they have. As they only have 2 masseurs, it was frustrating when we could not really book the slot that we would like and had to settle for an early morning slot. Price wise and service was reasonable and good otherwise.
