W San Francisco prides itself on going the distance to provide for guests. Their “Whatever/Whenever” program encourages guests to share their wildest wishes and dreams, while the hotel strives to make them a reality. W hotels are pet-friendly, so four-legged friends can vacation in luxury, too. The hotel offers dog-walking and grooming services, as well. To get around town, families can reserve an Acura at the front desk. Rooms are modern and feature bright, contemporary designs. Flat-screen televisions adorn the walls, as well as eclectic art pieces. Families may want to stay in a suite — the largest offers two beds and baths with a living room. XYZ is a chic onsite restaurant that serves locally-inspired dishes. Families will also want to spend some quality time at the heated indoor pool.

Stayed 3 nights for conference with the wife. Check in was friendly and efficient. Newly renovated room with great west facing view. Super comfy beds. Bright bathroom. Toilet paper roll not easily accessible. Decent closet but lacking in drawer space. No traditional seating - one high stool and then a bench on the window sill. Plenty of USB ports and electrical plugs. Nice reading lights for the bed as well. Renovations led to loss of the pool. Gym fairly small with lots of cardio machines and some free weights but not too many weight/resistance machines.

Stayed here as part of a twin centre tour of the USA. Arrived in a dull dreary wet SanFransisco after leaving the heat of NYC behind.
We were overwhelmed by the service when we arrived, as it was raining, we were given towels to dry off whilst we completed the check in formalities.
The room was a fantastic size, with great views. It was modern, contemporary and clean. It brightened up our day when we walked in.
It is in a fantastic area, close to Market St, and Union Sq shops. Close to the BART and the MUNI stations. The heritage streetcar F Market & Wharves stops at the end of the street. The cable cars are also only a 10 minute walk away.
A great base for San Fransisco
