Overview

Located on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands Campground offers what can best be described as camping with a touch of glamping. Families will stay in the comfort of wood and canvas cottages with electricity and cozy beds. All cottages can accommodate families of four. Bathrooms are shared and guests have full access to The Pavilion, where they can prepare meals in a shared kitchen.

Want a more private experience? Consider The Suite, which has a private kitchen, bathroom and shower; it also has a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean.

The campground also offers a hot tub, snorkel gear rentals, and Wi-Fi in the Communications Room; service may be spotty.

Great “glamp-ground”!

Stayed here for 4 nights and could have stayed longer! Had a bed and communal toilets, so hardly a camping experience. Communal cooking and eating space. Quick walk to the beach and the one bar amd two restaurants. So much fun! Mark and Lori were amazing hosts and left us alone mostly but were helpful whenever we needed anything. Will come again!

A wonderful place to enjoy Water Island!

My boyfriend and I love camping and this was paradise. The bed in our cabin was very comfortable and we slept so well with the ocean breeze. The view from our cabin was amazing too. The communal kitchen area and bathrooms were very clean and had anything you could need. Honeymoon Beach was a short golf cart ride away as well as the ferry dock and small market. Mark and Lori were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. I enjoyed working with Deborah in getting our reservations set and she provided tons of info for the island as well as St. Thomas. This was such a fun and relaxing vacation and we were sad to leave. I highly recommend Virgin Islands Campground if you are looking for a more unique vacation experience. We will definitely be back!
