This hotel exceeded expectations. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are beautiful. I went jogging behind the hotel and was amazed by the natural beauty. Areas for improvement include: The front desk staff is aloof and not welcoming as they are in other parts of the country. Also: if you choose to work out inside, their gym is about the size of my closet. It needs an expansion. Other than that I had great sleep, great mattress, wonderful bathroom, good view. And I loved the chocolate cookies on the bed on first night. Nice touch! I will definitely return for another visit in the future.

This was our third visit to the Vintners Inn. We love Sonoma and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are friendly and they provide a few nice touches like a free bottle of wine in your room when you arrive. It's a relaxing environment and a great location for visiting wine country. I'd recommend Vintners Inn to anyone looking for a slightly upscale place to stay while visiting Sonoma.
