lovely hotel on hill overlooking sea but just 5 minutes walk to beach. Superb facilities, spacious public areas, well appointed rooms with interesting collection of furniture and artefacts around the hotel. Well equipped gym, spa and 5 outdoor pools. We were B&B as we like to use local restaurants but had one meal in the Mercado restaurant in the hotel which was pleasant enough. The buffet was very well used in the evenings. We are fit and people should be aware that whilst not far from local facilities the hotel is quite an uphill walk from the beach and bars/restaurants.

We keep coming back for the very friendly and helpful staff, nice big rooms with beautiful seaview, classy hotel in colonial style with beautiful furniture!
This year the hotel was a bit crowded due to different countries having school holidays in the same week. It was important to be on time to get a table outside for breakfast and dinner.
