My friend and I traveled mid September for a 4 night stay. Opted for the “annex’s building, an older separate building from the main hotel. Nice protected porch with a table and two chairs that fit the scrabble board nicely. Smaller room with a refrigerator and coffee maker, although there was free continental breakfast with yogurt, fruit, muffins, toast in a small building across from the office. Staff was very accommodating particularly the young man that serviced our room. He quickly fixed the toilet seat which was unhinged on one side and unstable. He also readily returned to our room with winded and paper towels to clean the inside windshield, really above and beyond. Very quiet and HVAC unit kept us quiet comfortable as we had need for both ac and heat during our stay. It is a two minute walk to the village green where you catch Acadia national park shuttles for free, not to mention many restaurants and shops and the harbor. I hope to return with my husband and would stay here again. Nothing fancy, no frills and older furniture and decor, but clean.and an unbeatable location.
