A two-minute walk to the Village Gondola, this property in the heart of Mammoth activity is also expansive; condo accommodations range from studios to three-bedroom units, and onsite attractions include a pool, five hot tubs and three fitness centers. Units, though they vary slightly from one another due to different ownership, are clean and nicely equipped. No rollaways are offered.

We chose this hotel ( Grand Sierra Lodge) thinking about great guest service and a nice weekend ahead. Instead we encountered a terrible group of staff that Sunday morning November 10th. Devin, Kayla and Gail was the worst we have ever encountered in our experiences with hotel personnel. Devin went outside the front of the hotel and just yelled at me telling me not to smoke where I was standing. I was near the street when he like just shouted at me. He could have approached me and tell me without even shouting. This prejudice person should not be working in guest related jobs. He does not deserve to be working with the Village Lodge!!! He is a discriminating/prejudice person when treating guest at this hotel. The staff that Sunday morning Devin, Kayla and Gail was the worst we have ever encountered in our years of traveling. I could have started arguing with this person but have to keep my cool and not level myself with his attitude problem. Who the heck he thinks he is anyway? Kayla asked me for my ID for a luggage cart??? Why didn’t they ask for my ID when we checked in for a luggage cart? It’s confusing for me on why a guest would need to leave an ID for a luggage cart??? This 3 people wasted our weekend!!! I will let corporate people or Management do their retraining on this 3 staff before they encounter another bad review from other guest in the future. Will not recommend Grand Sierra Lodge for this reason.

Nice and clean, everything is walking distance. The rooms are nice and the parking is accessible from anywhere. We went off season and it was nice and quiet . We took our six month old and i think the elevation was a bit much for her , even we were a little short of breath. But it’s worth it!
