We were in seminyak central and we got given a card to open by a man working for AVA. We got a "gold" ticket which got this guy overly excited saying we have helped him win 50bucks and if we go back to the hotel w him we can claim 1 of 4 prizes which included USD1k, $500 worth of holiday voucher, ipad and something else. He said we were the 1st ppl who ever got the ticket.He was very persistent and we thought we might give him a chance. On the way there he told us to make sure we say the holiday is self funded and that we were employed.
The man wouldnt shut up the whole way there and kept saying to share our wins if we got 1k.
We filled out a paper n was told we had to agree to spend an hr there in order to claim pur prize. This included a free lunch by ava.
Later on another couple came to Ava w the same story. Claiming that their guy told them that they were the only ones.
So I asked the couple shall we hold hands n walk out of here as they are clearly scammers and that we did
Trying to get customers in the worse way imaginable. I would never stay at such a dishonest establishment.
We were ready for self defense if anything went wrong because it felt that dodgy and anything could have happened.
People, I wouldnt even trust this hotel w my belongings in the room while I go have a coffee down at the shops if o stayed there. Think again there are heaps of hotels in seminyak.
