No matter which way you turn at Vila Gale, you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous scenic views: a beach, the Atlantic Forest, or the mountains. Many of the rooms are on the smaller side, so families will be most comfortable in a suite (especially the presidential suite, if that’s in your budget!). Book all-inclusive for a totally worry-free vacation, and enjoy dining on sushi, Mediterranean cuisine, and local flavors at the three resort restaurants.
Kids have plenty of places to entertain themselves, whether that’s the pool, the Kids’ Club, the playroom and nursery, or the playground; plus, there’s a feeding room for parents and a children’s restaurant area. Other on-location activities include water sports, tennis, and hiking. One downside: if you like to stay connected, you’ll have to pay a surcharge for wifi.

I came with my father, and all the pictures they show make you think you'll be touching paradise with your hands.
First of all if you have no kids, and want to relax, don't go there. Full of children running around. I've been to other hotels and they have a family friendly area, and an adult friendly one; this one hasn't.
Food is very local, but nothing worldly, so if you are not brazilian or like their food the options are very limited, as well as cheap (the ice cream is frozen water with sugar and dye).
Same goes with entertainment, I wanted to have a chill time while having lunch but no. They put a typical orchestra, and not for some nice background music, no, I couldn't even chat with my dad without screaming. Then half the restaurant was dancing in front of them so if you wanted to go get something to the buffet better be prepared.
The WiFi is terrible. It comes and goes as he pleases wherever he wants. Want to watch a movie at night? Or your series? Be prepared to interrupt it 50 times to get back online.
There are not enough tables at the restaurant if half the hotel goes to have dinner at the same time. Nor does it have enough beach chairs or shades. Never happened to me that I had to be moving one chair from one point of the pool to another just to have some shade.
Last but not least, so much for their Eco Resort, but I've never been given so many plastic cutlery and recipients as here.

The place is located at a private beach, in a preservation area. Really beatiful. The staff is great. Really better than most. It is all inclusive, so don't expect a wide variety of drinks and the best brands. Food is good at the restaurant. The rooms are spaceous and well equiped. Keep in mind you're at a beach resort, where sand and sea water are part of you. The rooms must be easy to clean. So they are simple, but comfortable. At the first moment I smelled mold. Then I don't know if I got used to it or the circulating air solved the problem. But definitely not an issue. The pool is great and the animation crew keep the children busy and happy. I definitely plan to return.
