The Vieja Cuba is a cozy family-friendly hotel in the heart of Quito’s commercial district. The Quadruple rooms are spacious enough for large families and feature comfortable home-style furnishings. The Fruta Fresca Restaurant serves breakfast, sandwiches and traditional Spanish meals. The hotel has a charming garden where guests can relax with a book or enjoy the sounds of the city. The front desk is prepared to help guests book a tour of the Galapagos Islands. Kids will enjoy the Vulqano Park, a nearby amusement park and family picnic site. On warm days the Granilandia Water Park is the ideal place to cool off.

This hotel is absolutely charming. There is no elevator, so beware of the stairs at high altitude, however the doorman is more than happy to bring your luggage to your room. We stayed in a relatively small room, but the charm was top notch. No A/C in the room, but we opened a few windows and it cooled off at night. The staff was amazing. We were running late one morning so the kitchen staff made us a little to-go lunch! Their breakfast was sit down style and they served MANY amazing bites to eat.
The location was decent, it seemed! A lot of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. The walls seem to be thin, but the only noise we heard was the traffic and constant honking. This was a common theme in all of Ecuador, so I'm not sure that is a reflection on the property.
Thank you for the great hospitality!!!
