This big, white vintage resort can evoke visions of the “Dirty Dancing” movie. The expansive, waterfront grounds are just off the main path, so that they have their own, more private feel. The rooms are in various stages of updates; therefore, please check to ensure the amenities you are looking for are available.
Kids love the outdoor soccer fields and bumper boat rentals. The private beach and outdoor pool feel more secluded. The indoor pool is a bit dated. Outdoor swinging chairs are great to soak in the relaxing vibe with some ice cream. The Back Porch Bistro offers on the water dining and the Barefoot Tiki Bar features live music most summer weekends.

My wife and I were spending a day at Elkhart Lake just being tourists. We've heard about the Shore Club from friends who've stayed at the hotel. We just stopped in for lunch. Food was good, service was good, views of the lake are excellent. After lunch we were able to walk around the grounds, which are beautiful. We're planning on going back next summer

Ok, so it's Labor Day weekend and we continue to wait forever at The Tiki Bar for drinks. So what they have no one to work, and what they have were useless. The older women kept leaving the bar, or waited on people out of turn. The young man didn't seem to know how to make the drinks. They constantly had to go for booze. It's a holiday weekend, Don't you stock the bar before you open up?? Wow, not good for business. Good thing the music was fab "Skyhouse" rocks.
