Located in Bradenton, Florida on Anna Maria Island, this Mediterranean style resort is laid back and beachfront, which is even better! Families will love being so close to the white sandy Gulf Coast beaches, which makes playing in the sand and surf convenient. Families can walk the beach, play shuffleboard or tour the area on a bicycle. If your family is looking to escape the sand then head over to the large outdoor pool where kids can have a blast swimming and playing while parents relax and unwind on one of the surrounding lounge chairs. The spacious one- and two-bedroom suites feature a fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and large dining table. Many of the suites also offer beautiful beachfront views.

Old building falling apart

The only good thing about Via Roma is it is located on Anna Maria Island. The hotel itself is old & has an unpleasant odor. There are no private balconies & very few units are actually waterfront. When we stayed there 2 of the electical outlets didn't work & the refridgerator barely chilled our food. Worst part was the roaches in the kitchen. Needs drastic updating & better house keeping.

Best room ever!

I had rented a room online and did not know what to expect. It was the cutest updated room right on the gulf of mexico. The other guests were super friendly and the pool was wonderful. Great location. Close to everything. Staff wonderful. I stayed on gulf side. They do have condos across street so I would suggest confirming if you are on the beach side. Also no elevators. No problem for me but just a heads up.
