Overview

Along Highway 101, halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, is the Ventura Beach Marriott. Its prime location makes all of the local attractions, such as the Channel Islands and San Buenaventura State Beach, easily accessible. The hotel has a large heated outdoor pool and is home to the Pacifico Restaurant & Lounge, which serves a Baja-inspired menu of fresh seafood in a causal dining atmosphere. The hotel has double-bed guestrooms that sleep up to four, and suites that sleep four with a king bed, pullout sofa bed, and two bathrooms. Bike rentals are also available to explore the surrounding area.

Beautiful remodel, great location...

If you want a place that is newly remodeled, in a great location, and totally lacking in any security for guests, then this place is for you. Always nice to be accosted by vagrants asking you for your cell phone and wallet out in front of the hotel, with no hotel staff or security in sight. Throw in a night manager that doesn't care, and you have a real great property on your hands.

Marriott near the beach

I liked this hotel particularly its location and access to wonderful restaurants and a low key beach. Great place for a business meeting. I walked to the beach and stayed away from downtown. I would definitely stay here again
