Vacation Village is located within driving distance of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Families stay in spacious suites with fully-equipped kitchens and furnished balconies. Rooms are decorated in West Indies-inspired designs with wood furniture and rich colors. Larger suites have multiple bathrooms, sitting areas and dining room tables. Select units feature Jacuzzis. Kids will want to spend some quality time at the swimming pool. The Gold Coast beaches are a short 20-minute drive away. Though Vacation Village does not have an onsite restaurant, there are many dining options in the surrounding area.

Heaven in November

We have visited Florida every early November since 2008. We have been to the Weston and Bonaventure Vacation Villages properties 8 of those 12 years. The "A" units (where we always stay), are large and comforable, with King Bed and a Full Kitchen, elevators and great swimming pools and hot tubs. There a loads of places to visit and explore, great restaurants, shopping at Sawgrass Mills and so much more. If you can't find what you want to see or do, you're not looking very hard.

Hidden Gem

We come to this resort every year. The resort is only 20 minutes from downtown Ft. Lauderdale a 30 minutes from Miami. Although not right on the beach, the resort is located in a very quiet upscale area with lots of shopping, food, and entertainment. The resort is very well maintained and the service is excellent. The Weston has a huge pool and hot tub with a nice waterfall. We've never been disappointed. We always visit first week every November and the weather is 82-85 degrees and sunny.. They have a shuutle that will take you anywhere. New Hard Rock Casino is 10 min away. The Saw Grass Mall is also 10 min away. Saw Grass Mall is the largest indoor/outdoor mall in US.
