Located in Midtown Manhattan, the Kimberly Hotel offers families spacious accommodations for up to six that also include private bedrooms, mini-fridges and microwaves. Enjoy one of the 192 guestrooms or suites that overlook New York City — some have balconies, too — and see all the sites easily with your family. Rooms and suites range from standard guestrooms to two-bedroom suites with sleeper sofas. All guests receive complimentary access to New York Health & Racquet Clubs around the city, which offer indoor swimming pools, state-of-the-art workout equipment and saunas. Families also have the chance to sail on the fitness club’s 75-foot-long yacht for a fee of just $25 per person, which includes a three-hour tour of the harbor and dinner.
The hotel has two onsite bar/restaurants — Noir and Upstairs at the Kimberly — the latter of which is located 30 stories above the streets with rooftop access and a retractable ceiling.
Extra bonuses for families at this hotel include deals that offer discounts on Broadway or Radio City Music Hall shows. And if your name is Kimberly, you’ll get a complimentary robe to take home, as well.

This hotel looks like it was decorated in the 1970s with a strong influence from Elvis’ Graceland - down to the shoe buffer machine in our room. I was surprised there was no coin slot for magic fingers on the beds. We found it nostalgic, and kind of hilarious. You could see it being a location in Scarface or American Hustle. That said, our suite was huge by NYC standards - a full sitting area, kitchenette, balcony and 4 large closets. The three of us had plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean. Our double bedroom was like a tomb - no light creeping in & no street noise whatsoever. We all slept like logs. All staff was extremely friendly. The location is very convenient - especially for theater goers. I would absolutely stay here again. I’d rather stay in a retro-style hotel than many of the new modern hotels that are cheap-looking and get worn out so fast.

I’ve stayed at the Kimberly a few times now and it never disappoints. The attention to detail, care of the staff, and overall feeling you get in this hotel keep me coming back. The rooms are very spacious, something you just don’t get in many hotels in NYC. To top it off they also have a wonderful rooftop bar, with a great NYC crowd, not just tourists.
