We had an ok one-night stay at Tundra Lodge. We selected this hotel so our 6yr old daughter could enjoy the water park. Because we booked with airline rewards, we weren't made aware that the water park was shut down for 4 days of maintenance. Huge disappointment but they made it up to us somewhat with a perk or two. They didn't need to do that as they hadn't misled us in any respect, so that was thoughtful. The rooms are just ok. Nothing elaborate. Average sized. But the bed was comfortable and the amenities were reasonable. The wifi, however, was bad. the sign0in page is not on a secured site, so I couldn't get to it on either of my browsers. The desk clerk told me there's a work-around for this but she wasn't tech savvy and the person who knows wasn't there. Haven't had this issue anywhere else in North America. Tethered my laptop to my phone. Life goes on. We did have the breakfast buffet and it was outstanding. Very fresh. Great variety. A few nice Wisconsiny touches such as cottage cheese in the fresh fruit display and cherry sauce for the waffles. They also have a small gift shop with some fun items, and an ice cream parlor area. We didn't take advantage of that. Overall, a reasonably good stop. We'll give it another try some other trip home.
