Overview

This is both a B&B and chalet rental inn on 37 acres in the gorgeous Arkansas Valley. The chalets cater much more to families and are an ideal space for larger groups. We have stayed in the chalets two times and the scenery, amenities and cleanliness are always spot on. The chalets can sleep up to six in three queen-sized beds and feature two baths, fireplace and a full kitchen. The great room has 20-foot vaulted ceilings and features massive windows facing the mountains and surrounding views. A very large fireplace, TV with DVD and CD players, overstuffed couch and chairs are in the room.
Inside the B&B, there are a few different room choices from queen beds to suites. A lovely warm, breakfast is provided for each guest and there is a common area to lounge and read. Tudor Rose offers horse stabling overnight with stalls, paddocks and pastures available for horses of the overnight guests.

Cabin was as described, clean and cozy. We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the location and kiddos enjoyed the small walking trail around the property. It was a great hub for a couple days in and around Salida.

We have been to the Tutor Rose at least 5 times with our horses and find it to be an excellent B&B. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The hosts are genuinely happy to meet and visit with you and the breakfasts are simply delicious.
We especially appreciate the excellent facilities for our horses. This is the perfect place to stay when one wants to enjoy the fall leaves, fun quirky town of Salida and the amazing restaurants available.
