Overview

Families will love this bed and breakfast hotel because all of the rooms are tree houses high in the Costa Rica rainforest. Each tree house room features air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a full bathroom with warm water showers and a deck area to enjoy the rainforest and wildlife. Bunk beds can be found in some of the tree houses as well, perfect for families. Coffee will be waiting at your tree house each morning and then families to visit the onsite restaurant for the included, home cooked breakfast. The kids will love to take one of the daily, guided night hikes to witness the Costa Rican wildlife and there are more than 80 acres of rainforest and trails to explore during your stay.

Beware!! Not an exotic getaway!!

This hotel was nothing like advertised. The food was awful. One meal a day is prepared in the morning without any preference to individual dietary needs. There no kitchen to order additional meals. The lighting in the room is poor. The water does not get warm enough for a shower. The customer service from the owner is horrible. To quote her “ I don’t care about you or your happiness “. The tree house itself is scenic, however there’s no wi fi, and awful customer service. You are paying a high cost to stay at the tree house and their customer service is deplorable. Unless the customer service changes for the better, families should beware. On a weekday because they don’t have a chef onsite, only one Resturant delivers until 7 pm at night and chances are the order is wrong. The tree house is over priced and poorly organized. The tree house is advertised as an exotic getaway. However, it’s far from that. Hell has better customer service...

WONDERFUL FUN

Staying at the Tree Houses Hotel was really memorable. There were 6 of us (5 adults and one 9 year old) and we just came back from a 3 night 4 day stay. The owner was so kind and thoughtful. Every suggestion she made was perfect. We went to Hot springs, canyoneering and walks.
The hot coffee and milk brought to our tree house door every morning was soooo nice!
The family enjoyed the night hikes. A great place.
