The Travelodge is an ideal place to stay when visiting Lake Huron at Port Elgin and exploring the surrounding area. This budget motel is only minutes away from the Port Elgin Main Beach and is near other points of interest, such as MacGregor Point Provincial Park, Chantry Island Bird Sanctuary, and Bruce Peninsula National Park. The hotel has an onsite restaurant, Sunrise Café, which serves breakfast every morning. The standard guestroom can sleep four people with two queen beds. For larger families, suites are available that sleep up to six people with three queen beds. Guestrooms include a microwave and refrigerator.

Great stay, friendly staff

Love that it's pet friendly! The staff were all great and accommodated my request of an early check-in for a wedding we had to get to. Check-in and check-out was smooth, no issues during our stay. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, my only complaint.

Below average, mould in bathroom room 21

Stayed here a few days when working in the area.
Convenient for food choices a very short walk from the hotel.
Beds are hard, pillows flat.
Some renovations since last time we stayed. Floors paint etc.
Biggest issue is mould on the ceiling and wall in room 21. No vent or air flow installed in the bathroom.
I’d give it an average rating if it wasn’t for the mould
