Smoking rooms and strange rules

I thought smoking this was against the law for inside - across the board.
Yet they enforce a family with a 5lb dog from our hockey group to be separated from the rest and put on a different floor. $159/night is outrageous as well. Pillows were cheap ones as well

just off the highway, excellent people. with any luck you'll bump into rob the night desk manager. he's been at this location for 18 years and is a pleasure to deal with. all the staff are polite and friendly, as well as helpful. the rooms are very clean, well appointed and comfortable. ample parking, and the hotel boasts an indoor pool. excellent breakfasts and the area is safe and close to shopping centres. don't hesitate to stop in here when staying over in oshawa / whitby ontario.
