Spoilt by noise which could be easily solved

Spotless modern room with shower etc ....cleaner be very proud.
Receptionist had not got a clue about local food outlets .....manager a crib sheet would take you 5 mins to write
Considerable Street noise as double glazing has no sound proofing ability ....we were in room 310 3 floors above the street but could here normal conversation on the street. emergency services sirens were loud ...yes it’s a city and yes it’s expected ....clearly substandard window units .....the quick fix is secondary glazing if warranty on window is out.
We are loyal Travelodge customers and location etc is good .....but honestly Travelodge take note of everything here on TripAdvisor about noise at this hotel. You need to take action.

Great night's sleep

Dom at reception looked after us, very attentive chap and we had a surprisingly good night's sleep. The set up of the building is a bit weird, going up a lift to get to reception but otherwise no complaints.
