Tordrillo Mountain Lodge offers a remote escape for couples and families looking to get off the grid. The four-season hotel offers skiing (traditional and cross-country), snowshoeing, and fat biking in the winter, and fishing, mountain biking, rock and ice climbing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and foil boarding in the summer. You’re also likely to spot wildlife in the spring and summer! Families stay in Tordrillo’s lodge rooms or private cabins. Private chef services are available.
Perhaps our favorite feature, however, is the waterfront hot tub that’s open year-round. It’s actually on our list of the 10 Resort Hot Tubs Worth Traveling For!

This lodge was a bit of a splurge for us, but it was worth it. It's a quick flight from Anchorage and the flight is included in your package cost. They did us fly out with 6 of us to Beluga lake to catch some coho for harvest, as the fish are not in good condition for eating by the time they make it to Tordrillo and Judd Lake. The lake and river are full of fish. We went in late august, so it was sockeye, coho and trout mostly. The chef and food were over the top great and prepared special lactose-free meals. The guides also were the best. We caught a lot of good fish without flying out to other areas by floatplane or helicopter.

Amazing experience. The Lodge has everything that you need for your comfort and relaxation. It feels like you are staying in a friend's home. Staff are dedicated to your needs, but you have privacy and peace. During the trip you can be as active as you want with Heli-Skiing, Fishing, Shooting and water sports on the lake. I cannot wait to get back there!
