⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars to this hotel for multiple reasons. First - I booked this hotel because I like places with a splash of quirky and different personality and this hotel delivered in spades. Second - Kayla at the front desk was a blossom of cute, caring and kindness. She was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite for my husband’s birthday. She genuinely seemed to care about our visit and was the best first impression as I walked through the doors. Oh and the place smells awesome too btw. Third - I dragged my husband to trivia night which is totally out of his comfort zone and we were welcomed by a group of locals and we came in 3rd! It was a fantastic fun night and I loved that we got to hang out with some great people. Also, the male bartender is great. His name escapes me however during Trivia night his female coworker kept skipping me for my drink order, once he got around to me he read my frustration and apologized. I appreciate an employee who can see a fire and put it out immediately before there’s time to dwell and ordered me a drink ticket as an apology. All is forgiven, I was thankful to be made a priority and swift action to correct the problem. Fourth - The room was fantastic, it had plenty of room for us to move around and make ourselves comfortable. Our first room we shared a wall with an extremely loud woman and my husband asked the front desk if there was any way to find a more quiet arrangement. They were quick to accommodate and we were able to sleep without interruptions. One thing however is that the room heater does make a bit of noise, my husband was woken up a few times throughout the night. But once he settled down, we were both able to sleep well! Overall - The staff is fantastic, I’ve worked in a four diamond hotel and I am super picky about my standards of care and this staff exceeded all my expectations. The experience here was made so much more by their diligence and hard work. I was more than happy with the bed, the comfort, and all the hotel had to offer.
