Just had a great stay at Tamarack Lodge. All staff were friendly and helpful. Reported a light out at the base of the stairs outside of our cabin. It was fixed immediately. A special shout out to Josh, Brian and Merlin (spelling?), who recovered our cooler from a bear who helped itself to it while my husband was packing our car! Give those guys a raise!

First impressions mean a lot when it comes to lodges and this place has it in spades. From the well-worn steps leading up to the large lobby complete with fireplace, comfortable furniture and ski-culture mementos decorating the walls. The staff was wonderful. Brian and Dave, at the desk, helped us get settled. Chris, at the bar, attended to our drink and bar menu needs. Great conversations ensued with the lots of them. Our room was in the lodge, which was fortuitous, as the power was cut off to the cabins for some reason, but the lodge was put on the generator and so we had heat and light. The restaurant looked to be fabulous, but we didn't eat there. The bar menu was the appetizers for the restaurant, and was delicious. We just didn't want a big meal. Love this place and would go back.
