Overview

The Taino Beach Resort is comprised of the Ocean, the Coral and the Marlin resorts. Rooms come in many layouts that range from an intimate efficiency to spacious grand villas. Families will enjoy the luxury of full kitchens and master bedrooms. Taino by the Sea Restaurant serves breakfast buffets, lunch and dinner. Sunday dinner has a bonfire theme on the beach.

Kids will go bananas for the humongous swimming pool. Part of the pool is shallow with fountains for kids only. Another section has caves. Parents can relax and float on the lazy river that surrounds the pool, or hang out in the Jacuzzi. Lucaya Water Sports is an onsite and rents a myriad of water equipment and runs tour, including dolphin and snorkeling trips. Time Travel is an onsite travel center that guides guests to the best area attractions and excursions.

Taino Beach Spring 2019

The beach is nice but not that long as expected and the water is not blue lots of weeds.
The weather is very nice. The pool setup is awesome very relaxing. Bring your own floatie. Only 1 restaurant on site that has very good food.
Besides the bonfire there is no night time activity. Once its dark not much to do. It is not all inclusive which I prefer. Love the ferry shuttle into Freeport its very fast and beautiful view.
People are very nice and friendly. Theres also a van shuttle to do grocery shopping, you get an hour so you better hustle.
We should have bought less food and ordered out more but you learn.
We were delayed at the airport on departure which caused a lot of stress and kaos to make our connections which wouldn't have happened except one west jet rep said she could get us on.
Also to fly there from Canada we had to make 2 connections which was terrible. I learned that you can go to Toronto then direct to Freeport rather than going to Ft Lauderdale then to freeport in a small turbo.

Great getaway

Timeshare but not pushy. Great staff and beautiful facilities. Treat you like family. And the beach....could stay forever . The white sand beaches and turquoise water, as well as total privacy from other resorts ..perfect island vacation right here.
