I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have twice been a victim of their price gouging practices. I will not stay there again. Last spring I stayed there one night at a rate of just over $100.00.
After I checked out in the morning a spring snowstorm moved in and I opted to stay another night instead of driving in bad weather. They wanted well over $200.00 for that night. When I asked about the price jump they told me it was a regular practice of all hotels when a storm comes in. Perhaps that is the case so I accepted it. This past October I checked in and got an great rate of $59.00 because the desk clerk said I was a “cleared” former customer of good standing. The next day I asked if I could stay another night at that rate. The desk clerk said I could have a similar room for $99.00. I asked him if he could talk to his manager about getting the room again for the $59.00 dollar price. When I came back an hour later he told me that she said it would now cost $279.00 ! I asked if I could speak with her but she was conveniently gone so I called her later to ask why the extreme jump on price. She told me a hotel of their quality can get that amount. The Table Mountain Inn is not that great and the rooms are small. There is only one other hotel in downtown Golden so they can get away with this practice I guess. If you must stay in downtown Golden try using the Golden Hotel instead. They have better parking and you can get a room overlooking Clear Creek, but they are high priced as well.
Better yet drive for 15 minutes and go to the Sheraton West. The rooms are twice the size at a much cheaper price and are of much better quality in my opinion. They have a great view of the foothills or of the Denver skyline. They also offer an awesome complimentary breakfast that the downtown Golden hotels do not offer at all. Happy trails !

This is a restaurant and Inn business. We were there for lunch with friends. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. Wait staff was friendly but not attentive after our meal was served. Our order was delivered within an appropriate amount of time, was hot and pleasantly plated. My wife had a salmon salad. I had a burger. The salad was fine but the burger was dry. We had water to drink. Price for salad and burger was $30.47. A bit pricey considering the quality of the meal. Dining area and restrooms were clean. Easy to locate in the City on Golden. However, parking is terrible. We parked in a residential area about four blocks away. Not going to do this one again.
