Located near the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, this hotel gets high marks for cleanliness at a low price. Kids will appreciate the pool and the free breakfast, too.

We found the rooms and facilities to be very well maintained. Proximity to the highway meant it was not super quiet, but still quite nice. The breakfast was unremarkable. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

I see the cost of this place has gone down. It was higher when we stayed. Maybe there was some kind of local event that we didn't know about.
No real gripes - I just thought it was over priced. The wifi is chancy - not very strong and it cut in and out a few times. I ended up tethering to my smart phone. Everything worked. I didn't use the AC or heat so I cannot judge them. The fan was not whisper-quiet but it was a steady "whoosh" and that is exactly how I like it. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. Soundproofing was decent - I've experienced better and worse.
Our room served it's purpose, and , in all fairness, was comparably priced compared to other places in the area.
One area where the Super 8 was excellent - Service. The young lady who checked us in was mindful of my disability and let me in the room before the paperwork was finished (I was in bad need of a restroom).
