This reliable hotel offers a clean and comfortable place to stay for your family visit to Nacogdoches. More importantly, it’s quite affordable. For large families, ask for a suite, which contains two queen beds, a king bed, and a spacious living room, ensuring lots of space for everyone to spread out. You can even squeeze in a crib or rollaway. The hotel has a fresh, contemporary look that belies its budget rates. A hearty free breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, pastries, and more, is served each morning in the lobby breakfast room. Kids will be relieved to see a small, but fun, indoor pool and hot tub. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, coffee maker, fitness center, and laundry service.
The Super 8 is located on Highway 59 on the southern edge of Nacogdoches. The hotel shares a parking lot with a fast food burger place, but more restaurants are a short drive down the highway. Nacogdoches has a thriving downtown dining district a few miles away. There, you’ll also find a visitors center, museums, antique shops, and a wide variety of locally-owned eateries. Kids will enjoy exploring the Millard’s Crossing Historic Village, which features authentic buildings from all the way back to 1837. After that, take a walk along a creek on a nearby nature trail, wander through one of several arboretums, or take a 10-minute drive north of town to pick berries during the summer at a family-owned blueberry ranch. If you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable place to stay on your family vacation, Super 8 is a great choice.

We stayed here in may. Everything was fine so we booked again. Mistake. Due to game we checked in late. No extra blanket in closet. None at front desk. Only 2 pillows. Both were thick and weighed about 10 pounds. Last time we were here we had choices in room. It feels like this room was cannibalized for the sake of other guests. Front desk less than helpful. Tonight will be like sleeping on a thick rock. I feel completely ripped off. Called customer service and they were closed. Pictures of rooms here had more pillows bbn on bed. This is not what I paid for. Beware staying here. Must be going down hill since may.

Booked Hotel through hotels.com because I forgot to book earlier for SFA Homecoming. Room was clean-ish as is the hotel. Hallway has a strong smoke smell but the room didn’t. We booked 2 nights but for some reason housekeeping didn’t clean our room between nights 1 and 2. When I went to the front desk to get towels for night two the front desk staffer didn’t act like she wanted to give me more towels because we already had 4 in our room. Overall this was not a pleasant visit or a hotel I will ever stay at again.
