We booked this hotel as it was close to Mile high stadum as we were attending the Bronco VS KC game. I called at 9am and asked if we could get an ealy check in, the desk clerk that answered the phone said "no, check in is a 3pm, we have a lot of late checkouts due to the bronco game". I explained to her that was the reason for our trip and we wanted to get ready before walking to the stadum. We arrive at 2:45 room was not yet ready. Room will be ready in 30 miniutes so we decieded to go grab something to eat. 3:30 went back to the hotel, lobby full of people our room still was not ready. Sitting frustrated in the hot lobby for over an hour waiting. We did not get into our room till almost 5pm. Being a General Manager of a Choice Hotel for 10 years situations like this upset me. And it all comes down to poor managment and preperation. Yes I got my discount and only paid $39.00 for the rooms but it was not worth more then that anyway. When checking into the room there was a housekeeper still cleaning the room next to us, looking at her housekeeping room assignment for the day 23 rooms! Are you kidding me!! Being in hospitality I know that last room sure is not going to look like the first. This a burn out day for the housekeeper. Our room smelt of BO, room was dusty, carpet did not looked vacummed, my husband found a small baggie under the bed that had to of contained a controlled substance at one point. We will never stay at this hotel again!!
Words of advice - Only allow so many late check outs for the day
Hire enough staff so your guests dont have to experience wait time and dirty rooms and unsure 3pm check in for all guests.

Check in: Took forever although it was at midnight.
Room: Spider in the bathroom, sink was cracked, coffee machine broken, door not closing tight, shower hard to adjust. Basically a worn out motel room.
Noise: This was the worst. Most of the night there were a bunch o people hanging out drinking and smoking right outside our door. Loud and bad language. Playing music late and early. And their smoke came right through the door. When I asked them to move they just ignored me. I asked front desk to help out but nothing came out of it.
Value: $150! Really?
