The Sunshine Island Inn is located just minutes from the water. The hotel offers rooms for couples and larger families with multiple beds and a sleeper sofa. Guests can enjoy the large outdoor pool and outdoor seating and sunbathing areas. There are several charcoal grills and picnic tables available for guest use as well. The hotel is located directly on the beach with easy access to a variety of water sports and activities. Nearby are several bike paths, a botanical garden, restaurants and several other attractions. The Sanibel Lighthouse is just a 20-minute walk from the hotel grounds, and several golf courses are just minutes away.

So happy we stayed here

We stayed one night in the Castaway room and it was great. Wish it was longer. Newly renovated. Very nice size room with kitchenette. Loved everything about this place. Beach was a 5 minute walk with easy access. I liked that it wasn't right in town yet close to everything. We prefer smaller family run properties when visiting the beach. You really don't need resort amenities in this area since there is so much to do. Thank you Nancy for being so responsive, friendly and accomodating!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

Perfect spot for a little getaway! Walk to beach for beautiful sunrises. Refreshing quiet pool area for cooling off. Spacious suite, great wi-fi, clean. Convenient location on south end of island. Great value. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you Sunshine Island Inn!
