Lodging was great, cozy but enough room for our needs.
The lodge bar was nice, friendly staff, great food - the American plan was the way to go all inclusive
Guide service was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. We caught fish!!!
Highly recommend

Sunset Lodge is our choice for fishing on Lake of the Woods it's a great place with excellent docking facilities for your boat with a protected harbor. I can only speak for the 3 cabins our group has used since we started coming but those are always clean and have been updated recently and are even nicer than when we started coming here about 5 years ago. We have always used the housekeeping plan and bring a lot of our own food and drink for the week however this year we started eating more meals in the lodge restaurant and the food and ladies and guys working there are great folks always helpful and friendly and lot of them are fisherman to and can give ya some great tips for where to start your fishing trip. You can't go wrong with Sunset Lodge on Oak Island as your destination. There are some beautiful sunsets and sites and oh yeah fishing.
