This has been a place I have been coming to ever since 2002. It has changed owners a few times; however, the place has always kept it ambiance. Still today, my wife and I really getting away from it all when we come to stay out side of Glenwood Springs. The breakfast are fantastic, nothing special just a good hardy breakfast. The mountain is right there to go hiking or play Frisbee golf. Maybe just sit out side at night and watch the stars appear. Thank you for having us once again.

We were looking forward to a nice Anniversary weekend away. It was fine that there was no air conditioning and no TV. We wanted a weekend with just the two of us anyway. But the room was so hot we had to open the window which had no screen. Woke up to bugs in our room. Outside it was loud until about 1 AM because people were partying and kids were running and yelling. I do love kids, but that was a bit much for us in the wee hours. And since the rooms were so hot we had to leave the windows open. We were not offered a fan to drown out the noise or to cool down. There was a cute big white dog roaming around and was on the patio, so I put out the back of my hand for him to sniff me to be sure we were OK. He lunged and growled at us. Luckily when we turned our back to him he turned away and we ended our walk and had to stay in our dirty room. Half of my shower was a cold shower. We wouldn’t have stayed but everything around us was booked and it was late. We woke up and left, cancelled the rest of our stay. Did not feel like the room was clean. We are not picky but do like to have a room that feels and looks clean. Refused to give us a refund for the night we stayed. See photos.
