The Strathallan – a DoubleTree by Hilton may be a chain hotel, but it feels more like a destination resort in the Finger Lakes of New York. The deluxe hotel offers modern guestrooms and suites with mini-fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers, plus complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. The Strathallan also has an indoor, heated swimming pool, fitness center and business center. Hungry? Head to the onsite restaurant, Char Steak & Lounge, for casual, kid-friendly fare served for lunch and dinner daily. Options include sandwiches, burgers, salads and full entrees, plus a full bar.

Strathallan : Rochesters best

Quit hotel, clean, friendly, great food, they have everything. Staff is the best around. Great safe city neighborhood, I use this for business and pleasure all of the time. You know when you put people here for business they will be treated with great care.

Not remotely a "luxury" accommodation.

The "suite" was two tiny cramped rooms, with the bathroom in the bedroom instead of a common area. The bed was terrible. One towel rack in a suite that's supposed to sleep up to 4 people, and no hooks to hang clothes other than in the closet. At half the $ would have been overpriced.
