We had our sons wedding here and it was 90 % a miserable experience. The price kept going up as time got closer to the wedding, Then it was too late for us to back out, because everything was non refundable.The bartenders were drunk, drinking on our tab.a bunch of the motel rooms weren't ready when our guests got there (and they were not early). Some of the rooms were even occupied when our guests got there. The wedding planner never showed up for the wedding, leaving all the details to the bride.The wedding planner was paid to be there too.They presented a list of caterers for consideration, knowing that the best, and least expensive one was retiring, and made us pick from severely higher priced caterers.At this point we couldn't back out without losing thousands of dollars, and they knew it. They are still telling kids that the caterer in question is available, until the paperwork is signed, then they mysteriously fall off the list. We are considering legal action. I advise to stay away from this place.

This is a great, affordable property south of Wausau WI. This last stay was just like the previous stays. It is my "go to" the couple times a year that I am in the area. The room was squeaky clean and the service was exceptional. I WILL return.
