The closest you can get to living with a rural New Hampshire family, this bed-and-breakfast inhabits a 1785 farmhouse on a working farm run by two enthusiastic innkeepers who love to make families feel at home. Kids can pick out farm-fresh eggs for their scramble in the morning as part of heaping country breakfasts with local ingredients, or wander the grounds to watch the sheep and chickens and pick blueberries.
The house is decorated with a colonial ambience overflowing with antiques, and accommodations are warm and inviting, with luxurious little touches like four-poster beds with lace canopies and gourmet goat’s milk soaps. The farm is located in the quiet corner of southwestern New Hampshire, halfway between Concord and Keene, and an easy drive to Lake Sunapee and Mount Monadnock.

This is a lovely B & B, in a beautifully restored 18th century building but with all modern conveniences. Meg and Ed are gracious and friendly hosts who provide a top-notch experience. Breakfast was scrumptious, room was comfortable and we loved the old claw-foot tub for soaking away all tension and fatigue (also includes a shower, but who can pass up that tub?). They also have a friendly, but not obnoxious, golden doodle who is well behaved but always willing to keep you company. We found a good restaurant nearby and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely home.

If you are coming to the area for a wedding, visiting friends or family or just need a quite weekend away do yourself a favor and stay at The Stonewall Farm Bed and Breakfast! We stayed in the Franklin Pierce room. The bathroom is amazing and the bed is extremely cozy and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was always spot on delicious! Meg and Ed were so inviting and kind, along with their dog King (he is a very good boy) they truly made our experience something special!!
