New Mgmt - Check in issues - Gone down hill this year - Not recommended

I travel to this location every other month and this was my go to hotel but new mgmt appears to be running it into the ground. I always request early check in from the IHG rewards website. The last two times I’ve visited I’ve had to wait several hours to check in after flying into town which is very aggravating. I’m thinking the hotel is under new mgmt, and thinking of finding a new place to stay and recommend same to coworkers that frequent this hotel. Front desk mgr didn’t seem to care with a sorry about your luck attitude. (The normal front desk clerk was nice when I finally got to check in, Mgr could learn from her)
I also request ground floor every time when booking, which hasn’t been honored in quite some time. The rear elevators have been out of service the last few months so the service staff keeps the one working elevator busy during the day so long waits to get to ground floor. Had to ask for my welcome awards as well. Great rooms and facilities but having to wait several hours to get a room is going make me finding a new place to stay while I’m in town.

We had a quick stop on our way to the coast and we chose the staybridge from the price point. This is a great value! Our suite was really a suite and not a small room with a mini frig. It had a full kitchen that was well stocked, comfy sitting area, and the bed was comfy. Only suggestion I’d make is for them to have regular size pillows and not just King size. We brought our own so it didn’t matter but we own a resort and that could be an issue for some. We will definitely stay here any time we blast w through.
