Overview

The Staybridge Suites Lake Buena Vista offers families 150 guestrooms and suites in Orlando, within minutes of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Guests will enjoy spacious accommodations with king, queen and double beds, kitchenettes, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi. The largest suite can sleep up to six.

The hotel offers an outdoor pool, as well as a separate children’s pool, plus hot tubs. Scheduled shuttle service is available from the hotel to the surrounding theme parks, and all guests receive one complimentary round-trip per day.

Fuel up at the property with a complimentary breakfast each morning. Additionally, a free happy hour reception is offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, with drinks and snacks for all ages. There is no restaurant onsite for lunch or dinner, though every suite has cooking capabilities.

Other great hotel features and services include laundry facilities, a fitness room, a business center, daily housekeeping and free onsite parking. Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.

Great place to stay when visiting Universal

A friend and I stayed here on a trip to visit Universal Studios. We loved this hotel and staff! The rooms are equipped with everything you would need for a trip. Breakfast has a ton of options and there is a reception in the evening. There is a grocery store across the street for anything you would need during your stay. Universal Studios is a short Lyft ride away.

The only part I was not a fan of was the timeshare pitch that we were given after checking in.

Nice hotel for family stay

I stayed at this hotel for a week during a conference in Orlando. The price was reasonable, and the room was pretty big, with bedroom and living room and mini-kitchen. Breakfast buffet was included.

As a business traveller, I would prefer a more modern hotel with a gym. However, as a family with young children, this hotel could be a good choice.
