Step back in time at this historic hotel overlooking Little Traverse Bay’s waterfront. Built in 1899, the 79 rooms are one block from the bay and within walking distance to the cute boutiques, quirky cafes and upscale restaurants that make the town of Petoskey one of Northern Michigan’s favorites with tourists. There’s a shuttle from the hotel to the ski areas.

We stayed here this past weekend for a weekend getaway. Let me start by saying it was beyond charming. The front desk staff was so friendly. The decor is gorgeous and the history in this building was so impressive. Our room was cozy and decorated nicely. The breakfast vouchers were a nice touch and the food was phenomenal. The hotel was within walking distance of shopping and all the restaurants we ate at. We will definitely be back!

The Stafford Perry is a great stay for a girls weekend. There is local shopping and quaint restaurants. Would recommend the shoppers package which provides coupons for town and hotel discounts. Stayed on the 4th floor which has been renovated.
